The year 2015 is coming to an end and you probably will be with friends and family out partying celebrating the end of a great year… at least for some it was great. However, with all this great celebration of fireworks, 2015 party glasses, and booze comes the dreadful hangover the day after.

Super Green Coconut Detox Smoothie

This smoothie will surely make you feel 100% after a long night of partying. Here is how to make it.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of spinach
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 1 large banana
  • ½ cup pineapple
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 1 tablespoon shaved coconut

Directions:

Mix spinach, coconut milk, orange juice, banana, pineapple, honey and ice together and blend until smooth. When finished, sprinkle over with shaved coconut.

Tip: For extra fruity flavor add kiwi. If you don’t have fresh pineapple, feel free to substitute with strawberries or blueberries.

Peanut Butter Berry Smoothie

Anything and everything is always better with a little bit of peanut butter.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup of coconut water (or plain water)
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • Handful of ice

Directions:

Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until all are combined.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup of coconut water (or plain water)
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries

Directions:

Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend until all are combined.

Mint Chocolate Chip Smoothie

This smoothie will do two things; cure your hangover and the mint will mask your morning alcohol breath.

Ingredients:

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon peppermint extract

Directions:

Blend all the ingredients together until all are combined.

Green Tea and Berries Smoothie

Re-energize yourself in the morning with this green tea and berry smoothie hangover cure.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup frozen organic blueberries
  • ½ cup frozen organic strawberries
  • ½ cup chilled green tea
  • ¾ cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt (I like Chobani)
  • 2 tablespoons of chia seeds
