5 Last Minute Costume Ideas

I feel that for the 11 months of the year that are not October, I think of great Halloween costumes and say to myself, “Self, remember this for Halloween!” However, as soon as September ends and we wake up (yes, that was a Green Day reference), all of my amazing/pop culture relevant/incredibly punny costume ideas are missing in action. For those of you who are not quite sure what day/month/year we’re in, I’m here to tell you that Halloween is next week. On top of that, it lands on a Saturday, making it a Halloweekend aka Thursday night ratchet costume clubbing, Friday night at a bar in a chic costume lounging, and Saturday in your best costume turning up – and if you’re up for it, a Sunday Funday in a poorly executed yet somehow best photographed costume of the weekend. I’ll be calling in sick on Monday. 5 Last Minute Halloween Costume Here are a few last minute costumes that you can come up with easily! You may have to order a few pieces online, but it’s ok. Say it with me: “expedited shipping.” 1. KYLIE No, not Minogue (where has she been). There’s no doubt that we’ll be seeing a lot of Kylies; she’s made a name for herself with iconic looks throughout the year, so make sure you do it right. You too can feel like you’re barely legal and dating a 25 year old. 2. SEXY BUNNY I don’t know what it is about Halloween but we like to make every animal sexy. Do you think sexy bunnies really exist, munching on a carrot and...

DIY: Here are 4 simple steps that you can follow to create a cool cofee table 1. The first thing that you need to do is find some wooden crates in good condition and similar sizes. The size of the crates will determine the size of your base and the size of the glass top (if you choose to have one) 2. Staycation: Catalina Island

People cross the the whole country just to get to Southern California. Why? Because it’s awesome; there are so many things to do here; in my 23 years of living here I still have not done them all. In this month’s Staycation we are highlighting Catalina Island. Let’s go over a couple epic activities. Activities in Catalina Island There are plenty of activities to do in Catalina Island. Here we highlight our two favorite things to do whenever we visit the island. Flying Fish Voyage Have you guys ever seen someone flying fish? It is something that will instantly mesmerized you. Its pretty much one of those things you have to see to believe. The cruise takes place at night aboard the open-deck Blanche W. The boat has searchlights that are used to spotlight the fish as they glide over the water. It’s a very majestic experience that has to be seen in person. The spotlights are what entice the fish to jump out of the water and put on a show for the people on board the ship. Zipline Eco Tour This is one of the highest rated activities in the island on review sites. There are 5 separate ziplines that drop from 600 feet above sea level all the way down to the beach. This activity is not for the faint of heart, you can reach a max speed of up to 40 mph, so this one is mostly for the adrenaline junkies. The tour begins at the Hogs Back gate which is located high up in the hills near Avalon. Later, you will begin your descent...
