For the past 25 years we all have enjoyed the fantasy world that is Star Wars. Director George Lucas gave us joy and pleasure through the big screen with his Star Wars movie series. For years Star Wars fanboys have dreamed to set voyage on a mission in the Millennium Falcon alongside Han Solo and Chewbacca or battle heroically against The Empire in a Starfighter.

The time has come for those fanboys to live their dreams. We are greatly excited to announce the arrival of Star Wars Land at Disney Parks. Two weeks ago, at Disney’s D23 Expo, Walt Disney Company Chairman and CEO Bob Iger addressed to a large audience of more than 7,000 Star Wars fanatics that a Star Wars theme land will be coming to Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California and Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. This will allow Star Wars fans from around the world to be a part of the stories from a galaxy far, far away.

The Star Wars Land expansion to Disney will be the largest single themed land expansions ever at 14 acres each. This bold plan will place guests to a never-before-seen planet, a secluded trading port and one of the last stops before wild space where Star Wars characters come to life.

Fanboys can soon forget about the days of lightsaber battles with friends that they once pretended and experience an epic battle between the First Order and the Resistance. There will be two main attractions in the Star Wars Land, park guests will be able to take control of the most iconic ships in the galaxy, The Millennium Falcon, on a secret mission, and take part in a gallant adventure putting them right in the middle of a dramatic battle.

History will be made with these new Disney Park expansions. There has been no confirmation about a set date of completion, but all eyes will be on the Disney Parks Blog to hear more news about the exciting Star Wars Land.
