DIY: How to create a coffee table

It is unbelievable how many furniture stores are literally ripping you off for a coffee table. Seriously, a coffee table? Something so simple and small (most of the time). Here is a stylish, rustic, functional and cheap DIY alternative!

DIY: Here are 4 simple steps that you can follow to create a cool cofee table

1. The first thing that you need to do is find some wooden crates in good condition and similar sizes. The size of the crates will determine the size of your base and the size of the glass top (if you choose to have one)

2. Paint - you can paint them in a natural colour or you could just paint them in a colour that best suits your living room.

3. Plywood base and four wheels - this will make it flexible for moving around.

4. Glass for a top. Depending on how stable your table is, you might need to cover it with a glass top - it will add more stability.
