The Foo Fighters’ latest studio album, “Sonic Highways,” is still hot off the press and they have already started their 2015 world tour. The tour includes 28 dates in North America, with the band hitting the Honda Center in Anaheim twice.

The Foo Fighters played the Honda Center on the 19th of September. They simply rocked the sold out house with a two hour set. Hits like “Learn to Fly” and “My Hero” had the whole crowd singing.

Lead singer/guitarist Dave Grohl has a bum right foot, after an onstage accident, so he had to sit on his throne for the whole concert, but that didn’t stop the show from being awesome.

Drummer, Taylor Hawkins, grew up in Laguna Beach so these two Anaheim shows are a real hometown gig for the Foos. You’ll be able to find Anaheim-exclusive merch like T-shirts with the “FF” logo with the Angels’ halo looped around part of the top, along with other custom Anaheim items.

Grohl closed out the evening by thanking OC for “letting me borrow Taylor Hawkins for the last 20 years.” He also noted, “We never say goodbye. You know what we say?” and the band segwayed into an awesome performance of “Everlong.”

The Foo Fighters play their next SoCal concert here in Orange County at the Honda Center in Anaheim on Saturday, October 17.

You can check out all the details and ticket info on the Honda Center website: Honda Center of Anaheim Events or on the Foo Fighter’s website.
