Every girl deserves a day where she gets pampered and taken care of so we thought we would recommend a few well known places here in OC. For this month’s Girls Night segment, we wanted to give you some suggestions on taking a girl’s spa trip.

Burke Williams

Burke Williams has several spas in California. Today, we are directing our attention to their Orange spa located in Orange County. This spa was built to reflect the beauty of a fine Italian Villa. As soon as you walk in, you have the option of relaxing by the fireplace in the main lounge or jumping straight into the women or men’s spa’s that are decorated with marble and granite. This spa has over 25 treatment rooms that are impossible to get bored in. In addition to this, you can always hear the soothing sound of water throughout the spa along with the aroma of their essential oil. Our favorite treat about this place is that you can find pitchers of fruit infused iced water throughout the spa.

Vanity Belle was started by Victoria and Jonathan Nino. They decided to start this business after they planned their wedding and Victoria couldn’t really find a makeup and hair team she could connect with. Vanity Belle is an award winning salon and has been featured in every bridal magazine imaginable. Mainly because of the tailored experience they offer each guest but also Victoria’s commitment to perfection. They provide 5 star quality hair, makeup, and head to toe salon pampering. With two locations in Southern California, you should be able to make an appointment when you’re visiting the Coast.

For those in the movie and TV biz, they also provide mobile services for special events, photo shoots and private beauty lessons. When Victoria isn’t overseeing the helm at Vanity Belle, she also writes for her blog Expecting Anything and is the creative director of Totally Her Media….can you say super woman?

Do It Yourself

We couldn’t leave out the do it yourself section on this one! Not everyone has the finances to enjoy a relaxing day at the spa so here are 3 DIY tips you and your girlfriends can try out:

Condition your hair with Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is one of the best natural alternatives for your hair and skin. There are various studies that claim Coconut Oil can penetrate your hair and make it stronger while adding a natural shine to it.

Sugar Scrub
There are plenty of sugar scrub recipes out there but this one seems like one of the easiest ones to make:
1 Cup Of Brown Sugar
1 Cup of Oatmeal
1 Cup of Olive Oil

You simply mix the ingredients together and apply generously on your skin. This treatment is supposed to be relaxing so apply it patiently and slowly with circular motion. After you rinse the sugar off, your skin should feel as smooth as butter.

Olive Oil
Extra virgin Olive Oil can be used to revitalize the skin around your face and take. Take a few spoonfuls and apply it to your skin before your night cream in a circular motion. Make sure you keep it out of your eyes in order to avoid any problems.

Those were our top 3 options for a Girls night spa day. Remember that if you don’t have enough cash to splurge on a spa you can always call up your girlfriends and do it at home! Who knows, you might learn a thing or two.
