The Habit Burger’s New Hatch Chile Selections

For the month of September The Habit Burger is hosting its very own Hatch Chile Festival. If you’re hot for the southwestern pepper you’ve got to try all three. The Habit brings out the flavor and heat of the New Mexico-born chile with a variety of creative items.

First to the plate is the Hatch Chile Charburger ($4.95). The Habit combines grilled Hatch green chiles, melted cheese, fire-roasted chipotle salsa, tomatoes, lettuce and mayo on a toasted sesame seed bun.

 

Next up, Hatch Chile Chicken Sandwich ($6.95). This yummy offering includes lime-marinated, chargrilled chicken breast with grilled Hatch green chiles, melted cheese, fire-roasted chipotle salsa, tomatoes, lettuce and mayo on grilled sourdough bread.

 

Lastly is (my favorite) the Habit’s Hatch Chile Chicken Salad ($7.25). That same marinated chargrilled chicken breast but this time on top of hand-cut greens with feta cheese, diced tomatoes, carrots, black beans, chargrilled sliced Hatch chiles and fresh cilantro, tossed in our house-made cilantro lime ranch dressing.
