We love Southern California. Home of every kind of major sports teams and a plethora (thank you word-of-the-day calendar) of entertainment centers; we are in one of the most sought-after travel destinations in the world and we don’t even have to leave our own backyard.

Every month SoCalLocal will tell you about the biggest concerts, sports events, and all the can’t miss action happening in Southern California. Let’s kick this feature off with what’s happening in December:

Chicano Soul Legends

Legendary DJ Art Laboe presents us his sixth annual Chicano Soul Legends concert. With performance by Joe Bataan, Sunny Ozuna, Thee Midniters, and more! This amazing concert is on Saturday December 5th. The show starts 7:30 P.M.

Disney On Ice Presents Frozen

“Do you want to build a snowman?” Disney On Ice is back for the holiday season at Honda Center. This year’s show will be from the movie Frozen. Not only will the film come to life on ice, but special appearances from beloved Disney princesses, characters from Toy Story, Finding Nemo and Lion King, and of course Mickey and Minnie Mouse. This show is something the family will truly love. Disney On Ice will be at the Honda Center from December 16 through December 26.

Mötley Crüe

Mötley Crüe are coming to an end after a long and classic 34 years of rock and roll. The iconic rock band are on their final tour and will be at at the Honda Center December 22. The concert will start at 7:00 P.M. however we advise getting there early to buy awesome merch.

Honda Center

The Honda Center in Anaheim is known as the home of the 2002 NHL Stanley Cup Champions the Anaheim Ducks. The venue is also home to many events such as high school basketball play tournaments, comedian tours, concert tours, and other events.
